Cascade County Public Works Begins Road Work in Sun Prairie

Cascade County Public Works will begin road rehabilitation within the Sun Prairie Estates subdivision to repair existing asphalt roadways. Weather and site conditions permitting, United Materials is scheduled to commence work the week of March 16, 2026.

Sun Prairie Road, Sun Loop Lane, Prairie Dog Lane, and Riverfront Lane will be affected by this project.

Residents, motorists, and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution in the area and watch for work zone signs, detours, road closures, reduced speed limits, flaggers, and construction personnel. Temporary travel delays and intermittent road closures for through traffic should be expected during the construction period.

Construction will be carried out by United Materials of Great Falls, MT.
